Dr Caruso, commonly referred to as "Dr C" or just plain "Doc", has strong family ties to Jersey City, NJ.  In the early 1900's his paternal grandparents, Carmine and Josephine Caruso, settled in this city and raised a close family here.  Dr Caruso's father grew up on Grant Avenue with two brothers and sister. After attending Dickenson High School Dr Caruso's father and both his uncles went on to proudly serve our country in WWII in 1942.  They would return to Jersey City afterwards.

In the 1950's the Caruso family worked hard to live the American dream establishing both roots and friendships here in Jersey City, NJ which exist to this day.

Dr Caruso was born in 1958.  He played baseball as a child and was a Yankee fan in the 1960's.  Mickey Mantle was his favorite player.  He wishes he held onto Mickey's rookie card for his collection today!  Dr Caruso played football and and baseball while in high school and graduated in 1976.

Dr Caruso then graduated from Rutgers University in 1980 with a degree in Biology.  He continued his education at the graduate level in Human Physiology. He then graduated from UMDNJ-New Jersey Dental School in Newark, NJ in 1986.

After graduation he returned to Jersey City starting this practice at its present location on September 30, 1986.  This was a lifelong dream come true for him. 

Catering to the community and helping all those in need has earned Dr Caruso a reputation for kindliness throughout Jersey City.  The Practice serves all Hudson County, New York City and beyond.

The practice started with one small treatment room and many large dreams.  Thanks to people of Hudson County we have seen these dreams come true and look forward to a productive future in Jersey City.

Dr Caruso has been married 18 years and has a 15 year old son and 13 year old daughter.  Dr C has spent his free time as a soccer, basketball and baseball coach for in town and travel programs as well as a CCD teacher.   He also volunteers his time and practice actively for the underprivileged and economically disadvantaged.
